This is a painting I did in highschool involving a fairy combined with this moody night sky. I thought the contrast of the two was a very... heh.. "illuminating" feature - I hope you enjoy looking at is as much as I enjoyed painting it :)
the original has some interesting features - her hair is actually metallic silver and shines in the light, and her wings and the water have had a gloss of paint thinner over them making them sparkle and shine :)
