Artist's Description
A picture of the love of my life keith, also known as keefer. We are soulmates - I have known him since he was 14 years old and our love transcends relationships. The only person I love as much as him is my partner. Love you keefer!
Keefer had an image that I wanted to use for an art project but it was only in black and white. So for the first time ever I re-coloured an image, and it looks really good! The colours match him and everything!
Then I took the image, made it more colourful, and then converted it to a grid of colours, and replaced all the colours with colourized images of my work! The works are all generally coloured to the colours of the artworks - so red can be red, pink, pinky purple etc.
be sure to click to zoom in to see the effect! Sadly there is a balance that must be struck between size and pixel depth to show overall quality of image, so the individual pieces in this case are small, as I opted for more "dots" to show a more complex image :...

I think I struck a good balance between overall pixel detail and pixel size :) I worked in grids of 3x3 so pieces of some finish pieces of others - this works because all of my pieces have a centralized radial theme.
