So I made this piece to be very tongue in cheek and to sorta poke fun at the victorian era of being very stiff and proper - where even the two in the painting know they are being ridiculous - it's meant to be fun and playful - the man not normally wearing a dress but doing so to please the girl - as they laugh over it together. Love conquers all as they say. Enjoy!
