A first in a new series of bearish masculine men that showcases joy and frolicking either in water in nature or at the beach! This piece exudes warmth gentleness and an inviting gaze to anyone without hierarchical stereotypes, while still showing a healthy amount of masculinity - the subset shines beautifully on his face and his face has a bit of mischievousness to it! This piece was made in response to our polarized culture which states if you show emotions you have to be feminine, or effeminate, which is often how women seem to want to portray men who are not "toxic" in their masculinity, or you have to be hyper masculine, and show no emotions and be gruff and intolerant. This piece shatters both of those and combines them together into something that is something that can show emotion and be masculine at the same time, something people like me desperately needed role models of growing up to understand where I fit in this world.
