Description
taken in the forest, the scene depicts a gently rolling stream with protective rocks on one end, and a pebbly beach on the other. A log bridges the two sides, while light gently spills in from the right, catching the greens, blues and yellows in the water, and illuminating the canopies of trees almost from within. One is drawn into the image as they trace the stream back into the image. A bit of moss grows on the rocks in the foreground.
